Come backto your body.
Trauma-informed somatic bodywork, vagus nerve regulation, and cryotherapy. For when the body is ready to release what it's been holding.
I help you release what your body has been holding for you.
I'm a somatic practitioner, yoga teacher, and a mother of three. I started this work about ten years ago because I needed it myself. The longer I've practiced, the more I've trusted what the body knows.
My sessions are gentle, slow, and trauma-informed. We work with red light therapy, tuning forks, vagus nerve stimulation, and the deeper layers of your tissue — opening space for what's stored there to soften and move.
You don't have to perform here. You don't have to explain. You just have to show up.
What is somatic bodywork?
Somatic comes from the Greek soma — the body, as lived from within. It's the difference between massaging muscles and listening to a nervous system.
A conversation, not a procedure.
Traditional massage works on you. Somatic work works with you. I'll ask what you notice, where your attention goes, what feels stuck.
The nervous system, not just the muscle.
Chronic pain often lives downstream of a nervous system stuck in alert mode. We work with the vagus nerve, breath, and gentle touch to bring the body back toward rest.
What's been stored.
Old grief, old fear, old vigilance — your tissue remembers all of it. Somatic work creates space for those patterns to release at the pace your body chooses.
Seven ways back to yourself.
Each session blends what your body needs that day. Here's what I work with — alone or layered together.
Trauma Somatic Healing
Gentle massage combined with vagus nerve stimulation, red light therapy, and tuning forks. We open space for stored tension and emotion to move at its own pace.

Targeted cold therapy on the area that's been holding you back. Cold has been used for pain since Hippocrates — for a reason. Most people benefit from a series.
Book This SessionVagus Nerve Regulation
The vagus nerve is the main highway between brain and body. When it's regulated, you can rest. We work with stimulation, head and neck massage, and belly work.

Book This SessionWhen the pain isn't just the pain.
Most chronic pain has more than one address. There's the spot that hurts — and there's the nervous system that hasn't been able to put down its guard. Working with one without the other only gets you so far.
I see this with people carrying:
- Tension that physical therapy hasn't fully resolved
- Old injuries the body is still bracing around
- Anxiety, hypervigilance, or never truly resting
- Disconnection from the body after trauma or loss
- Headaches, jaw pain, gut issues that come and go
- Sleep that won't quite arrive, or won't stay
If any of that sounds familiar, this work is for you. Start with a Trauma Somatic Healing Session — we'll go from there.
You don't have to perform here. You don't have to explain. Your body already knows what it needs — my work is to make space for it.

What you might be wondering.
I've never had somatic work before. What should I expect?
We'll start with a short conversation — what brought you in, what your body's been holding, what you'd like to feel afterward. Then you'll lie down on a heated table, and I'll work slowly. You can talk, stay quiet, ask questions, or fall asleep. There's no wrong way to be in the room.
What's the difference between this and a regular massage?
A regular massage moves muscles. Somatic work also listens to the nervous system, the breath, the places that flinch or soften. The pressure is often lighter than people expect — the goal isn't to push through tension, it's to invite it to release. Many clients find this work goes deeper, with less force, than anything they've tried.
Can cryotherapy actually help with chronic pain?
Cold has been used for pain since Hippocrates wrote about it. Research today shows targeted cryotherapy can reduce inflammation, calm nerve sensitivity, and offer real relief for ongoing pain — especially when paired with nervous system work. I usually recommend a series of six sessions for chronic conditions.
Is this work safe if I'm dealing with trauma or PTSD?
This work is built for it. Every session is paced to your nervous system, not the clock. I never push past what your body is ready for. That said, I'm a somatic practitioner — not a licensed mental health provider. If you're in active crisis or working through significant trauma, please also stay connected with a therapist or doctor. We can complement that care beautifully.
How often should I come in?
It depends what you're working with. For chronic pain or cryotherapy series, weekly for six sessions tends to land the best results. For somatic and nervous system work, every two to four weeks builds steady regulation. We'll figure out what fits your body and your life.
Do you serve men, or just women?
Most of my practice is women, but men are welcome. The work is the same — the only requirement is that you arrive willing to slow down.
